Shotlock frowns. Seems an Optimus was an Optimus was an Optimus. He had been hoping to convince the Prime to let him weasel out a few more shots, but his charm apparently only worked so far with an Optimus' determination for concern.
He sighs and puts Penumbra away and rubs at his chest, over his spark chamber again.
He wasn't exactly a stranger to the medbay, he used to go pretty regularly before Hot Shot. He still goes, just not as often. Still, he was having fun showing off his new gun and Optimus has seemed legitimately interested in it at first.
This was a good opportunity though, and Shotlock reached out and grabbed Optimus gently by the lower arm. "You'll come with me right? And stay?" He wasn't trying to be manipulative, not maliciously, but he did put maybe a little more stress in his voice then what he was actually feeling.
